The sun also sets

It has been raining all day here on Otty Lake, Ontario. A dull, gray, constant downpour that dampens the soul and soaks the landscape.

Ah, but if you could have gazed through this rain-dappled window on the previous evening, as the sun was dipping toward the western shore…

…if you had seen what I saw.

You might have raised a toast to the very glory of it all.
