With apologies to the Box Tops.
The city lights, the pretty lights
They can warm the coldest nights
All the people going places
Smiling with electric faces
What they find the glow erases
What they lose the glow replaces
And life is love
In a neon rainbow…
Listen, there is something seductive about wandering the streets of downtown GNV after the sun goes down and the lights go up.
Something otherwordly even.
Especially if you have someone to share it all with.
Every street seems to take on added dimensions.
You can look through any window.
Or stand alone in the shadows and contemplate life, the universe and everything.
It’s rather like standing at ground zero amid an explosion of colors.
And contemplating worlds within worlds within worlds.
I love this town.
